about

Recorded @ Brady Street Records during a very long 7 day period in early November of 2009, in lovely Tulsa, Oklahoma.

King Faker and Ambulance were remixed/remastered tracks from our first demo recorded in March 2009 with Chris Harris. This was going to be an EP until we decided to record a few takes of Spanish Song and Calendar Girls in a live session on the last day, and ended up including them in the end, along with King Faker and Ambulance thrown in.

Kellen's birthday bash took place the night before the final session throughout downtown Tulsa and we all nearly died, yet somehow made it back to record. (RIP to Club Pink, what a place that was.)

Big thanks to the downtown Hyatt hotel for putting up with us all week, we're still sorry about the walls.

Engineered by Tommy Gittins and Chris Harris. Mixed by Chris Harris in Norman, OK. Mastered by Garrett Haines in Pittsburgh, PA. Produced by The Pretty Black Chains. Released almost a year later in September of 2010. Long story.
